With a versatile equipment lineup—including 3 mobile cranes, 8 loaders, 6 forklifts and specialised support machinery—Noatum Ports Tarragona Terminal delivers tailor-made solutions for general cargo operations. Deep-draft berths (12–16 m), extensive open and covered storage areas, and value-added services such as maintenance support, bonded temporary warehouse (ADT) and AEO certification ensure reliable handling of a wide variety of cargo types under the highest operational standards.
Agribulk Cargo Handling and Storage
As one of the Western Mediterranean’s most efficient agribulk terminals, Noatum Ports Tarragona Terminal offers fully mechanised handling solutions designed to maximise speed, safety and sustainability. Warehouses connected through conveyor belt systems enable rapid discharge operations, fewer truck movements and reduced environmental impact. With more than 57,000 sqm of storage capacity, expandable to 100,000 sqm, the terminal provides highly flexible solutions for leading feed and food production industries across Spain.
Ro-Ro and Vehicle Operations
The terminal offers highly efficient ro-ro services supported by two dedicated ramps, a specialised fleet of shuttle vehicles, and optimised berth availability. Noatum Ports Tarragona Terminal has also incorporated state of the art technology to ensure real-time traceability of vehicles, enhancing accuracy, safety and operational control throughout the process. These capabilities enable fast turnaround times and seamless integration with road connections.
