Noatum Ports Showcases Strategic Outlook at 2nd Port Development Middle East & Africa Forum
Noatum Ports, the international ports operating arm of AD Ports Group, participated in the 2nd Port Development Middle East & Africa Forum, held at Conrad Dubai from 20–21 October 2025. The event convened regional and global stakeholders to explore the future of maritime infrastructure, trade corridors, and urban port integration across emerging markets.
Representing Noatum Ports, AbdulAziz Al Balooshi, Regional CEO – Africa & Asia, delivered a keynote address focused on the transformation of global trade and the evolving role of ports in driving connectivity, resilience, and sustainability. He highlighted Noatum Ports’ strategic investments in multipurpose terminals across Africa and Asia, and emphasized the importance of digital innovation and community engagement in shaping the next generation of port infrastructure.
Julien Krongrad, Chief Strategy & Commercial Officer, joined a high-level panel discussion on urban port integration and coastal zone management. He shared Noatum Ports’ approach to designing versatile terminals that accommodate diverse cargo profiles while ensuring operational efficiency and environmental harmony. Drawing on examples from Karachi, Luanda, and Safaga, he underscored the company’s commitment to sustainable development, including the use of hybrid equipment, integrated rail systems, and coastal protection initiatives.
